Altered Form Workshop with Robin Teas: All three sessions.

$200.00

Week One: Changing the Architecture Sunday, January 18, 1:00 to 3:30pm

Explore ways to alter wheel-thrown forms by shifting their underlying structure. Using darts and strategic manipulation, we’ll move beyond round pots to create forms with movement, tension, and personality.

Week Two: Adding Spouts and Handles Sunday, January 25, 1:00 to 3:30pm

This session focuses on integrating spouts and handles into wheel-thrown work. Robin will demonstrate methods for making these additions on the wheel and attaching them in ways that feel cohesive, functional, and expressive.

Week Three: The Sum of the Parts Sunday, February 1, 1:00 to 3:30pm

In the final workshop, we’ll break things apart to build something entirely new. Learn techniques for cutting, rearranging, and assembling wheel-thrown components to create complex, unexpected forms that go beyond a single thrown piece.
